Midway is the smaller of Chicago’s two airports, and that is exactly why so many south- and southwest-side travelers prefer it. Where O’Hare sprawls across five terminals on the far Northwest Side, Midway is a single building you can cross in a few minutes. Walk off the jet bridge, head down to baggage claim, step out to the curb, and the car is right there. There is no terminal shuttle, no long march between concourses, and no guessing which arrivals door to use.

Its location does the rest of the work. Midway sits near Cicero Avenue with the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) close by, so it feeds straight into the south and southwest suburbs and the Southwest Side. For someone coming from Orland Park, Tinley Park, Frankfort, or Joliet, that often means a shorter, more predictable run than crossing the whole metro to O’Hare. Midway leans heavily domestic, with carriers built around quick turns, which suits the in-and-out trip most of our airport clients are making.

The friction we remove is the part travelers dread: parking in the garage and hauling bags across a skywalk, or standing on the rideshare deck after a late flight. With a reserved car, you are dropped at Departures and collected at Arrivals, and the chauffeur has already watched your flight land. The in-and-out nature of MDW is its whole appeal, and it’s why we field so many requests for this airport from Orland Park, Joliet, and Frankfort.

O’Hare is the bigger operation on the far Northwest Side, with the international routes, the wide carrier mix, and the long-haul connections. If your itinerary points there, or you’re coming from the north or west, that’s usually the better call. Where do you meet me at Midway?

On the Arrivals level. With one terminal at MDW, the curb is easy to reach — come down to baggage claim, step outside, and your chauffeur is waiting in the vehicle. If you’d rather be met inside, choose a meet-and-greet and the chauffeur will be near baggage claim with a name sign.

What happens if my flight is delayed or early?

We track your flight in real time, so the pickup time follows your actual arrival, not the original schedule. If you land early or sit on a delay, the chauffeur adjusts and is there when you reach the curb. Reasonable wait time for arrivals is built in.

Should I choose curbside or meet-and-greet?

Curbside is quickest for a single traveler with carry-on or a familiar trip — you walk out and get in. Meet-and-greet suits first-time visitors, groups, anyone with a lot of luggage, or a guest you’re sending us to collect, since the chauffeur meets them inside and helps with bags.
